While using the conferencing facility doesn’t require a meeting ID or password, the first time setup can be a bit tricky. That’s because you have to configure the browser to allow the use of the microphone and camera. Here’s what to do depending on your preferred browser:

Firefox: When the box pops up asking for permission to access your camera and microphone, make sure the correct device is shown, tick the “Make Decision Permanent” box and then click OK.

Chrome / Edge: when Chrome asks you for permission to use the microphone and camera, click Allow.

Safari: When you are asked for permission to access the camera and microphone, click Allow.
